Fwd: Scariest Democrat Halloween Contest

Dear Robert,

What do Halloween and politics have in common?
Scary Democrats!

Every year the Republican National Committee has a hard time determining who is the scariest Democrat of the bunch. Just like the fall harvest, there's an abundance from which to choose. That's where you come in. We need your help in determining who the RNC should announce as the "Scariest Democrat" in 2007.

Please click here to play. We'll announce your choice before Halloween Day.

Fwd: FW: work vs prison

Work vs Prison

Just in case you ever get these two environments mixed up,
This should make things a little bit clearer.

@ PRISON

@ WORK

You spend the majority of your time in a 10X10 cell

you spend the majority of your time in an 8X8 cubicle

You get three meals a day fully paid for

you get a break for one meal and you have to pay for it

You get time off for good behavior

you get more work for good behavior

The guard locks and unlocks all the doors for you

you must often carry a security card and open all the doors for yourself

You can watch TV and play games

you could get fired for watching TV and playing games

You get your own toilet

you have to share the toilet with some people who pee on the seat

They allow your family and friends to visit

you aren't even supposed to speak to your family

All expenses are paid by the taxpayers with no work required

you get to pay all your expenses to go to work, and they deduct taxes from your salary to pay for prisoners

You spend most of your life inside bars wanting to get out

you spend most of your time wanting to get out and go inside bars

You must deal with sadistic wardens

they are called managers

You can talk about Jesus, and even participate in Bible Studies

you'd better not talk about Jesus or bring a Bible if you want to keep your job!

THERE IS SOMETHING SERIOUSLY WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE!!!!

A Picture of the New Me!

Too cool!

The Walk Is Over Or Is It!

Well I've walked across the stage and received my parchment scroll stating that I've earned the Master of Information Systems/Management degree. Now what? Do I pursue a Doctorate or Juris Doctor degree? Humm, a DBA or Lawyer? Decisions, decisions, decisions! Well first things first. I've invested in a Law School Admissions Test (LSAT) prep book to read through and prepare for by taking practice tests. I guess time will tell!

Commencement Speech at UOP

Well out of 45 applications for the 2007 Outstanding Student Award for the University of Phoenix, my application was selected in the top ten and I was asked to prepare a 5 minute speech for the Commencement exercises.  Unfortunately, I was out of town on the day of the audition and had to read my speech over the telephone to the panel of judges.  I was selected as the the Outstanding Student but the panel did appreciate my efforts and enjoyed my speech.

I also mailed out all of my Graduation announcements so everyone should be getting theirs this week.  Now it is just a matter of walking in the commencement exercises on June 3, 2007 at 2pm.

Walking in Graduation at the Atlanta Campus

Well after finishing my degree requirements for the Master of Informations Systems/Management degree, I have decided to walk in the graduation ceremony of the Atlanta campus of the University of Phoenix at the Gwinnett Arena on June 3, 2007. I placed my order for my Cap, Gown, and Master’s hood as well as some announcements. I also plan on submitting my name for the Outstanding Student Award.

It is now a real event and I can’t wait as the excitement mounts.

IT'S OVER! I GRADUATED!!!

Well it's finally over and I have achieved another one of my lifelong accomplishments--a Master's degree.  I received the grades for my final class yesterday and I received 984.7 points out a possible 1,000 or 98% or "A" for the class--CIS Strategic Planning!  This final "A" have elevated my GPA to 3.9/4.0 and I've graduated Summa Cum Laude!

To celebrate, I took my wife, sister, and cousin out to the Olive Garden for dinner.  We had a wonderful time.  I would especially like to thank my wife, Rebecca for putting up with me during this timeframe and allowing me the time and space to do my homework and prepare the numerous papers and projects that were required for my classwork.  She is a very special lady and I love her very much, although that may go unsaid on occassion.

Now the question is do I march in a graduation ceremony here in Atlanta or not.  When I decide, I'll let you know!

Last Class is in the Home stretch!

One more week to go and I’ll graduate with a Master’s in Information Systems/Management degree. The only question now is will I graduate Summa Cum Laude or Magna Cum Laude! Both are much better than Thank You Laude!!!!!
