Walking in Graduation at the Atlanta Campus

Well after finishing my degree requirements for the Master of Informations Systems/Management degree, I have decided to walk in the graduation ceremony of the Atlanta campus of the University of Phoenix at the Gwinnett Arena on June 3, 2007. I placed my order for my Cap, Gown, and Master’s hood as well as some announcements. I also plan on submitting my name for the Outstanding Student Award.

It is now a real event and I can’t wait as the excitement mounts.

IT'S OVER! I GRADUATED!!!

Well it's finally over and I have achieved another one of my lifelong accomplishments--a Master's degree.  I received the grades for my final class yesterday and I received 984.7 points out a possible 1,000 or 98% or "A" for the class--CIS Strategic Planning!  This final "A" have elevated my GPA to 3.9/4.0 and I've graduated Summa Cum Laude!

To celebrate, I took my wife, sister, and cousin out to the Olive Garden for dinner.  We had a wonderful time.  I would especially like to thank my wife, Rebecca for putting up with me during this timeframe and allowing me the time and space to do my homework and prepare the numerous papers and projects that were required for my classwork.  She is a very special lady and I love her very much, although that may go unsaid on occassion.

Now the question is do I march in a graduation ceremony here in Atlanta or not.  When I decide, I'll let you know!
